Restorative Teacher Training

Relaxation is a skill, and like any other skill, it takes practice and a skilled teacher to learn.

Restorative Yoga offers practitioners a reprieve from the stresses and resulting tension of everyday life. In a culture that often frowns upon slowing down and taking time for self-care, we are not taught how to relax.

Through the gentle, supported poses of Restorative Yoga and the supportive guidance of a skilled teacher, students are provided the tools to deepen their ability to release physical and emotional tension, free the breath and soothe the nervous system, restoring balance, renewing energy and allowing wisdom and self-healing power to pervade.

Expand your own skills while offering your students the opportunity to “just be” in their bodies, to quiet their minds, fully-supported and relaxed, in the warm presence of a caring guide.
