This training helped diversify my yoga knowledge, therefore making me a more versatile teacher. Kristin inspires you to want to know more, and not only is she a huge source of knowledge and experience, she also brings in wonderful guest teachers who specialize in different styles of yoga.

Participating in this training was transformative for not only my teaching, but also my own practice. Kristin’s emphasis on alignment during her intelligently sequenced classes really brings the attention inward and makes you find a connection between mind and body.

You already know how to teach. You love Yoga and can’t get enough of it. Now it’s time to take your teaching and practice to the next level with the 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training with HOME Yoga and receive your RYT – 500 certification.

Over the course of 11 weekends from January to November, you’ll refine and challenge your knowledge of precise alignment, intelligent sequencing, anatomy, injury prevention, hands-on assisting, daily meditation, and ancient yoga philosophy and history, and, of course, teaching. You’ll refine your time management skills, ability to change your sequence on the fly and understanding of the bodies in, and energy of, the room. You’ll have the opportunity to observe classes and read the room from a different point of view by assisting live classes, getting hands-on practical experience. We’ll explore in more depth Restorative, Yin, Beginners, Ayurveda, the Subtle Body, meditation.

To deepen your practice as a consummate learner, each Saturday and Sunday will include asana designed to explore advanced postures as well as three hours of philosophy and history discussion on Friday nights. In depth posture labs will allow you to see and pinpoint the differences in tight bodies verses more flexible bodies. In addition, you’ll analyze and discuss strategies for commanding the room whether you are teaching beginners, seniors, injured or pregnant students, or even those who distract and challenge the teaching environment.

It’s time to find your own voice, become a leader in your field and have the ability to lead workshops, retreats and specialized yoga classes.

For me, the 300 hour teacher training was the perfect compliment to the 200 hour. It took all the knowledge I gained to a far deeper level. A continuation of exploring the yoga sutras and specifically themed weekends, cemented my yoga journey. More importantly, Kristin is so generous with her knowledge and fosters an environment of kindness and community. Not only did I slowly secure the confidence to teach but I gained a lovely support system through my fellow 300 hour participants.

Kristin’s 500 RYT was exactly what I was looking for to strengthen and deepen my yoga teaching. Her program emphasized anatomy, alignment, the art of sequencing, and yoga philosophy. I am now more confident guiding students safely and appropriately in their own practice.

Everything I wanted to get out of this training, I did. This training program will definitely advance and deepen your knowledge. I highly recommend it!

Kristin Olson’s 300-hour TT program is superior. Kristin’s knowledge of alignment, sequencing, and the sutras is apparent; her lesson plans are relevant, extremely thorough and well thought out. Throughout the program, I have been able to learn how to be a better teacher; I have taken the TT lessons directly to my classes. As a direct result of this TT, I have also been able to redefine what I need and want out of yoga, and how to access it and share it with others. If it isn’t clear yet, I highly recommend Kristin Olson’s TT program!

— Renee N.

Kristin’s 300 RYT program has been nothing short of amazing. She has helped me deepen my study of yoga in so many ways. The highlights of the program include learning detailed alignment principles, subtle counter actions in a pose, the art of intelligent sequencing, and especially the Friday night sutra discussions. Kristin’s detailed understanding of alignment is really special. She has a wonderful ability to create intelligent sequences which make even challenging poses accessible. Not only have I learned a tremendous amount, but I have had a great time doing it. I feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn in such a wonderful yoga environment.

— Steve M.

HOME Yoga’s 300 HR YTT was amazing! Kristin is so full of knowledge regarding alignment and asana, the philosophy of yoga and intelligent sequencing. Her passion for all aspects of yoga is apparent in her teaching and as a result it was really fun, easy and interesting to learn from her. I highly recommend this training to anyone looking to sharpen their teaching skills or expand their knowledge of yoga as a whole.

Taking Kristin’s TT is a gift to yourself and to your students. Kristin will nurture your role as teacher, and you will become more confident sharing yourself and your love of yoga with students. You will learn the art of skillful sequencing to help your students progress safely in their asana practice and leave your classes with a sense of clarity and balance. Kristin will encourage your study of the yoga sutras to deepen your own practice and help you impart the subtle aspects of yoga into your teaching.

Teacher training weekends are fun and thought provoking, thanks to Kristin’s passion and talent for clearly communicating and teaching yoga philosopy, anatomy, and sequencing. I am so glad I participated in HOME Yoga’s 300 Hour TT, and I am grateful to Kristin for enriching my practice and my teaching.

There is an Aristotle quote displayed at the studio and on the TT page that summarizes perfectly Kristin’s approach, and inspires me to do the same: “We are all what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”

— Karen K.

Assisting Kristin in her classes was the highlight of my teacher training. Observing the effects of different cues on the students’ bodies was a valuable learning experience that has enhanced my own teaching skills.
